Privacy Policy
Search Receivables ("we," "our," or "the publication") provides trade research, regulatory analysis, and industry reporting across commercial receivables, debt buying, and credit management. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how it is used, and how reader data is protected.
1. Information We Collect
We limit data collection to information necessary to deliver research, respond to inquiries, and understand aggregate readership:
- Direct Submissions: When you subscribe to our research alerts, send an editorial inquiry, or submit a confidential job application, we collect the details you provide (such as your name, email address, inquiry topic, and message text).
- Confidential Career Submissions: Resume files and application notes submitted through our opportunities desk are processed confidentially, routed only to the designated hiring desk, and are never made public or sold.
- Aggregated Site Analytics: We use Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity to observe aggregate traffic trends, device types, scroll behavior, and navigation paths so we can improve usability and site speed. These tools record anonymized behavioral metrics and do not collect sensitive banking or consumer-debt account records.
2. How We Use Collected Information
Information collected on Search Receivables is used strictly for legitimate publication operations:
- To deliver requested research alerts, weekly monitoring briefs, and editorial responses.
- To review and respond to reader inquiries, corrections, or methodology feedback.
- To maintain site performance, security, rate limiting, and spam defense.
- To facilitate voluntary reader contributions, surveys, or subscriptions if you choose to participate through authorized provider workflows such as Google Reader Revenue Manager.
3. Third-Party Services & Payment Processing
Search Receivables does not sell, rent, or trade reader personal data. When third-party tools are used:
- Reader Revenue & Voluntary Contributions: If you make a voluntary contribution, subscribe, or complete a reader survey through Google Reader Revenue Manager, transaction processing is handled securely by Google and its authorized payment processors. Search Receivables does not store your credit card or bank account details.
- Analytics & Infrastructure: Anonymized metrics are processed in accordance with Google's and Microsoft's privacy standards.
4. Data Retention & Security
We maintain appropriate technical and administrative safeguards to protect submitted email addresses and editorial records against unauthorized access. Records are retained only as long as necessary to fulfill the requested research service or meet legal obligations.
5. Reader Rights & Contact
